Oscar Casas

Oscar Casas, now a citizen and resident of Canada since 1990, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He grew up there during the chaotic military regime, and experienced his share of adventures. His artistic nature was stimulated from an early age, as he was surrounded by tango music. His parents managed a weekly milonga (tango dance), and the end of the evening would often find young Oscar sound asleep on the coats of the men and women who had come to dance.
Oscar enjoys people, and people enjoy Oscar. To put it simply, Oscar loves life, and celebrates each day to the fullest.
This "joie de vivre" can be clearly seen in his work.
